Dr. Ronald Garcia, DACM, MSTOM, L.Ac

Dr. Ronald Garcia earned his B.A. in History from the University of California Los Angeles. While attending UCLA, he took an interest in sports medicine, anatomy, physiology, and participated in premed curricula.

He is a graduate of the Massage Therapy/Asian Bodywork program at Pacific College of Health and Science where he also graduated summa cum laude and earned a Masters of Science in Traditional Oriental Medicine degree and a Doctorate of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine. In addition, he has over 20 years of experience in Vipasanna meditation guided by the esteemed S.N. Goenka. He is currently completing certification in Classical Five-Element Acupuncture from Dr. Brian Bender of the Institute of Classical Five-Element Acupuncture Inc.

Being drawn to science and meditation, Dr. Ronald Garcia was able to observe the intersection of subatomic phenomena of the quantum world and the subtle vibration of the human body. This study has helped him move beyond pathogenic thinking and towards understanding our bodies as a biofield; a biofield that is beholden to the laws of the natural world. As it is in Nature, so it is in us. Understanding the imbalance of our interconnected tensegrity nature guides us to the root of our disharmonies. Expressions of the body, mind, emotions, and spirit exist as a coherent whole; restoring balance and regulation in any one of these dimensions informs all dimensions. He
believes an understanding of the five elements without and within is a key to optimum health.

In addition to the infinite wisdom this system of medicine offers, he enjoys music, practicing meditation, Qi Gong and Tai Ji, studying the Dao, training jiu jitsu, appreciating nature and most importantly, spending time with his kids. Dr. Ronald Garcia actively pursues personal internal and external balance as well as avenues to promote health and wellness within his community.
